About the exact length of a new 10 cent US dime & very easy to swallow with water due to the soft gel. I've enjoyed 5-htp over the past 8yrs & I've found the perfect supplement in this MicroIngredients brand. I it says to take 2 daily but I take 2 in the morning & 2 at night the first week then switch over to 2 a day.
