Occasionally—whether it’s the sticks or the powder—I’ve had some in the past that were a little bland. This one is is SO GOOD, so naturally sweet—like it should be.. and so fresh that I immediately bought another bag. I make my own chai mix, and I put it in so many things, drinks and food. I bought this to control my high blood pressure, and sure enough, it brought it down significantly. Tastes very fresh. I place it in my coffee cup with about a tablespoon of honey and then pour in the coffee. This helps it dissolve and it tastes great with just the perfect sweetness.

The difference between Ceylon and Saigon cinnamon is almost like night and day and when you use a lot of Ceylon cinnamon it's hard to find a consistent vendor. Over the years I have purchased from a number of vendors where the first purchase is the real deal and then the subsequent purchase is not Ceylon cinnamon, the problem is once the bag is opened any return is nullified. I have purchased this brand four times, the second time I opened the bag with a great deal of trepidation which was quickly dispelled once I got that first whiff. Since then this has been the only brand I will buy.
