Organic Matcha Green Tea Powder

One of my coffee alternatives is matcha lemonade with strawberry purée. I’ve been able to recreate that at home and save so much money! The powder is pretty fine and comes with a tiny scoop. I have no issues with the taste at all! Love it! Matcha can be grainy any way, but I think this blends well. I do use my mini blender instead of shaking or stirring because I know it’s grainy and I have had no issues!

I love this matcha! A little definitely goes a long way. Pleasantly bold flavor, tastes great as a cold milk tea also!

We love matcha, and it means several in our household buy and consume it in various forms. One of these uses can be seen in the attached picture. We also add to shakes. This matcha is most likely not meant for traditional tea drinking, and given its price we didn’t expect that. For our use this is a good value for money and it gives the right complement/additive to the shakes/baking. The taste is good and it comes through in baking.

Preface: matcha is labeled for either ceremonial or culinary (and sometimes something representing in between). Ceremonial is supposed to have a lighter flavor and a clean green color while culinary is usually slightly muddier looking with a much stronger flavor. I've seen ceremonial quality at up to 5x the cost of culinary in the same brand and amount.
