This tastes exactly as you would expect freeze-dried strawberries would. I wouldn't say it gives you a "burst" of strawberry flavor or that it packs a punch. Those qualities are usually within the domain of artificial ingredients. What it does provide is a bright flavor with a hint of tartness. The color is absolutely appropriate with beautiful results. I've been adding this strawberry powder to plain Greek yogurt and I absolutely love it. It allows me to add intense strawberry flavor without the sugar (or non-sugar sweeteners) found in the pre-flavored yogurt at the grocery store. This is an 8-ounce resealable bag of Strawberry Powder (organic, freeze-dried). There is a scoop included in the bag. I had to use a spoon to dig through the powder to get the scoop out. I find it interesting that, once the powder has settled, the top 1/4 of the bag is empty (much like what I see in my cereal bags).
