This pea protein powder is very dense, unflavored and unsweetened. It is a good addition to breakfast or even to an afternoon snack, to milk, for instance. It does not change the taste of milk or smoothie, but it makes them thicker and much more nutritious. Each serving (2 scoops) provides some 27 grams of protein, in addition to vitamins, minerals and amino-acids. It comes in a very generous 5-pound bag, enough for some 68 servings. Unfortunately, I have waisted some of the content when I tried to put it into a glass container. I like this product.

I under estimate on how much you get. 5lbs is a large bag and serving size is two small scoops (about 1/2 Tablespoon each) so this will last a long time. I store it in the fridge to keep the quality over time. The flavor is really mild and does not conflict with the flavor of other ingredients. It does need to shaken or blended as it easily forms clumps. It is a very fine powder. I have only tried it in drinks and smoothies but it might be worth trying it in soups as well.

At $8 a shake after every workout, I decided to make my own. But finding the right pea has been challenging. Look no further! This protein tastes Ah.amazing!! It’s so creamy when blended and totally fills me up. What I love most…it only has one ingredient! No additives whatsoever. I almost got the vanilla flavored because I was afraid it wouldn’t taste good. But that added more carbs, fat, and ingredients.
